Pump track! The Ottawa Mountain Bike Association is working hard to move their project proposal forward to build a bike park at Carlington Park in Ottawa. The park is central, right off an NCC recreational path, and would be a fantastic location for a park consisting of a variety of terrain, from dirt jumps to skills areas, singletrack and a pump track. The ward wants to hear what the community thinks, so if you live in the River Ward, or know somebody who does, please share your thoughts and/or the pertinent info. This sort of FREE infrastructure would make a big contribution to the community, giving kids and adults alike a place to learn bike skills, about stewardship, and have FUN!
